Originally released as a travel retail exclusive in 2013, Dark Storm is matured in heavily charred oak casks and is described as the smokiest expression Talisker has ever produced, capturing the untamed spirit of a full-blown storm at sea.

A/ Official tasting notes

NOSE

Rich, fruity spices with citrus notes, brine, and aromatic smoke; the smoke gradually elbows its way to the fore alongside smoky bacon, black pepper, and red chilli with a touch of orchard fruit.

PALATE

Full and sweet with fruity flavours, vanilla, then smoke, liquorice, and spice; a huge oak influence with a big burst of smoke on entry, followed by red fruit, citrus, and fresh honey.

FINISH

A classic Talisker smoke and chilli finish cranked up a notch, very long, peppered with honey-roasted nuts.
