A/ Official tasting notes

NOSE

Huge, sweet campfire smoke mixed with rich strawberry jam, dark chocolate, dried fruit (raisins/figs), roasted hazelnuts, and a distinct maritime/sea breeze salinity.

PALATE

Thick, oily, and syrupy on the arrival. Intense dark fruit notes (dates, plums, cherries) are heavily influenced by the PX and Oloroso sherry. Mid-palate introduces spicy elements, cigar box, espresso, and a "chimney effect" of smoke.

FINISH

Long and enduring, with lingering salted caramel, ashy peat, wood smoke, and dried fruit.
