A limited Fèis Ìle 2020 release of only 3,000 bottles, distilled in 2003 and vatted from three distinct parcel maturations — at the time the oldest official Port Charlotte bottling ever released by Bruichladdich. Offered via online ballot after the 2020 Islay Festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A/ Official tasting notes

NOSE

Soft wood smoke, vanilla, sweet fruits, cinnamon, toasted oak, smoked bacon, and mild BBQ sauce, with underlying honey sweetness and a hint of coastal brine.

PALATE

Pleasing salinity with caramel, honey, apple, mango, and pineapple; notes of shortbread, oak, leather, black pepper, and bacon with an undercurrent of bonfire smoke.

FINISH

Medium-length, with integrated smoke gradually mellowing into sweet fruit, cream, and gentle oak spice.
