First released in 1968 as the world's first commercially available cask-strength single malt, the 105 takes its name from the British proof measure — 105 proof, or 60% ABV. Family-owned Glenfarclas matures it in Oloroso sherry casks, delivering a big, sherried Speyside dram at full strength that rewards a splash of water.

NOSE
Rich sherry, dried fruit and dark chocolate, with butterscotch, oak and a prickle of alcohol.
PALATE

Long and warming, with lingering dried fruit, spice and a touch of sweet sherry.
