The flagship bourbon of Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, named after the ancient buffalo trail that crossed the Kentucky River at the distillery site. A low-rye mash bill aged for at least eight years in new charred American oak — bottled at 45% in the US and 40% for most export markets. The everyday benchmark against which entry-level bourbons are measured.

NOSE
Vanilla, mint and molasses, with caramel, toasted oak and a hint of dark fruit.
PALATE
