The second of two limited-edition releases created exclusively for Fèis Ìle 2022, comprising a vatting of vintages from 2005/2006/2007 of all three Bruichladdich spirits — Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte, and Octomore — all distilled from 100% Islay-grown barley. Limited to 2,500 bottles, it is the wine- and sherry-cask counterpart to Rock'ndaal 01.1, which was bourbon-matured.

A/ Official tasting notes

NOSE

Rich and sherry/wine-led with fudge, cinnamon, nutmeg, and freshly cut grass; treacle syrup, sultanas, dates, and ground ginger develop with strawberry and rhubarb notes in the background.

PALATE

Bright cherries, raspberries, and dried apricot with warm undertones of cinnamon and cloves; dominated by strawberries and dark chocolate, complemented by pink peppercorns.
