A limited Fèis Ìle 2026 release of 2,500 bottles, reviving the Octomore Black Art concept first debuted in 2016 and celebrating Bruichladdich's 25th anniversary since reopening. It deliberately withholds age, PPM, and maturation details in the spirit of the Black Art series, marrying Octomore's peat power with Black Art's trademark secrecy.

A/ Official tasting notes

NOSE

Peat smoke drifts gradually at first with whispers of honeysuckle and geranium leaf, followed by a vibrant surge of tropical fruits — melon, mango and sun-ripened peach — alongside stewed orchard apples, vanilla crème brûlée, orange marmalade, smoked barley, fragrant marzipan and toasted praline.

PALATE

Exceptionally rich and viscous, with jammy stoned fruits and tropical sweetness balanced by roasted marzipan and salted hazelnuts; beneath the surface, toasted oak and supple worn leather provide structure alongside cracked black pepper, nutmeg and gingerbread.

FINISH

Long and elegant, with echoes of sweet charred oak and tropical fruit that slowly surrender to a final accent of ethereal peat smoke, which lingers delicately.
