The third limited-edition 10 Year Old release from Bruichladdich's Octomore range, distilled in 2008 from 100% Scottish Optic barley peated to 167 PPM and matured entirely on Islay across a complex patchwork of port, cognac, ex-American whiskey, and virgin oak casks. Limited to 12,000 bottles and bottled unchill-filtered at cask strength.

NOSE
Rich chocolate, tobacco, bonfire smoke and leather, with vanilla custard, blueberry, dry straw and pear drops.
PALATE
Warming and spicy with notes of mulled wine, leather, tobacco, malt sugar and icing sugar, all wrapped in earthy peaty smoke.
FINISH
Oak-driven with coconut, tobacco and vanilla, then a lingering wave of smoke — the extended cask time has softened the peat over time.
