A travel retail-exclusive iteration of the iconic Black Bush, blending 80% Bushmills single malt matured in hand-selected Pedro Ximénez sherry casks with 20% small-batch Irish grain whiskey, released in 2022. Ageing in PX casks imparts rich dried fruit and caramelised raisin notes characteristic of the legendary sweet wine.

NOSE

Big, bold aromas of rich fruitcake and intense sherry sweetness deriving from the Pedro Ximénez casks, with notes of toasted walnuts and sherry-soaked raisins.

PALATE

Soft and silky mouthfeel with a distinctive toasted nut character, hints of allspice, ripe peaches, walnuts, almonds, dried fruit, black pepper and vanilla.

FINISH

The intricate alliance of the complexity of the PX sherry cask and the smoothness of the spirit results in countless layers of flavour in a long and lingering finish.
